According to State Information Service Egypt, Madbouli stressed the importance of promoting culture and knowledge, especially among children and youth, as essential for building a well-informed and enlightened society. He emphasized that fostering a love for reading and learning is integral to human development and societal progress.
The Kitabak initiative is a key project in cultural and community development, implemented in partnership with the Ministry of Culture under the presidential initiative “Decent Life.” The project targets enhancing culture and knowledge across different segments of society, with a particular focus on encouraging children and youth to engage with reading and learning as fundamental aspects of personal development and awareness.
Beheira Governor Jacqueline Azer noted that ‘Kitabak’ is among nearly 4,000 ongoing projects under ‘Decent Life’ in Beheira, covering areas such as infrastructure, healthcare, education, women’s empowerment, youth support, and job creation. The ‘Kitabak’ project features 28 cultural outlets in various villages and towns throughout Beheira, including the one visited in Zawyet Saqr. These venues function as community centers for accessing books, participating in reading sessions, and engaging in cultural activities.
