PM Inspects Verde Foods Factory in Banha Investment Zone


Banha: Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli and his accompanying delegation inspected the Verde Foods factory during his visit to the investment zone in Benha in Qalyubia governorate.



According to State Information Service Egypt, Madbouli was briefed by the company’s Managing Director, Hossam Galal, who explained that the factory covers an area of 1,800 square meters and specializes in the preparation, processing, packaging, and preservation of fruits, vegetables, legumes, and pickles.



Galal added that the factory’s daily output reaches 10 tons of automatically packaged fruits and vegetables, with an annual production of 3,000 tons. Work is underway to increase production capacity to 4,500 tons per year. He noted that 95% of the factory’s output is exported, generating $3 million in revenue, with a current workforce of 30 employees.



Madbouli closely inspected the production stages, including raw material intake, blanching, cooling, washing, and sorting. He praised the company’s products for providing a wide range of packaged fruits and vegetables to both the local market and international customers.
