New capital: Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, emphasized the vital role of the real estate development and construction sectors, describing them as key engines for economic growth and job creation. During a meeting at the government headquarters in the New Capital, Madbouli reviewed the outcome of the Advisory Committee for Urban Development's work.

According to State Information Service Egypt, Madbouli highlighted the importance of the real estate sector in light of the current positive economic indicators. He expressed the government's commitment to enhancing support for this sector, viewing it as a driving force for numerous industries. The prime minister identified real estate export, specifically the sale of local properties to foreign buyers, as a top government priority for attracting hard currency.

Madbouli announced plans to expand the inclusion of new cities on the official digital platform for real estate exports. Additionally, the government is working on activating a unified national identification number for properties. These measures are intended to ensure transparency and reliability for foreign investors.

Members of the advisory committee noted a significant expansion in the construction sector. They also called for an increase in the supply of raw materials to support this growth.
