PM Heads to Lebanon for Talks on Bilateral Ties, Regional Issues

Beirut: Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli headed to Lebanon Thursday evening on a visit aimed at discussing bilateral ties and regional issues.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the premier is accompanied by Minister of Industry and Trade Kamel el Wazir, Minister of Electricity and Renewable Energy Mahmoud Esmat, and Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Karim Badawi.

On Friday, Madbouli is scheduled to hold talks with Lebanese President Joseph Aoun, Prime Minister Nawaf Salam, and Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri. These discussions are expected to cover key aspects of the bilateral relationship and explore potential solutions to pressing regional issues.

The Prime Minister will also deliver a speech during a business meeting with representatives of Lebanese economic entities at the premises of the Chamber of Commerce Industry and Agriculture of Beirut and Mount Lebanon (CCIA-BML). This engagement aims to strengthen economic collaboration between the two nations.
