PM Follows Up on Administrative Capital Development Efforts

Cairo: Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli recently convened a meeting with Khaled Abbas, the Chairman and Managing Director of the Administrative Capital for Urban Development (ACUD), to assess the company's progress in the New Administrative Capital. The meeting was held to evaluate the ongoing activities and efforts aimed at transforming the New Administrative Capital into a model for smart and sustainable urban development.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the Prime Minister issued directives for the establishment of emergency teams dedicated to monitoring utility works in the New Capital continuously. He also emphasized the significance of organizing events and celebrations that would enhance the New Capital's appeal and boost housing demand.

During the meeting, ACUD's head, Khaled Abbas, highlighted the necessity of expanding the range of services available in the New Capital, particularly given the increasing population. Abbas noted that the company is actively collaborating with relevant ministries and agencies to improve the quality of services provided to the residents.

Abbas further stated that the ACUD is focused on enhancing the quality of life for both residents and visitors in the New Capital. As the population continues to grow, there is an urgent need to maintain high living standards through infrastructure development, maintenance, service management, and the provision of green spaces.

Additionally, Abbas mentioned that throughout 2025, the New Capital hosted numerous cultural, artistic, and sports events. Efforts are being made to organize large-scale celebrations in conjunction with leading event companies. These initiatives aim to promote the New Capital on both local and international stages, with plans for major events and concerts already underway.
