Cairo: Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli issued a decision declaring the period from Thursday, March 19, to Monday, March 23, an official paid holiday for employees of ministries, government bodies, public authorities, local administration units, public sector companies, and public business sector firms on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr.
According to State Information Service Egypt, this announcement provides a five-day holiday period, allowing employees within these sectors to observe and celebrate Eid al-Fitr. The decision affects a broad range of public services, ensuring that workers across different sectors are able to participate in the festivities associated with the end of Ramadan.
