Cairo: Nominations for Egypt's Senate election are set to open this Saturday, marking the beginning of the application period for candidates. The process will last until Thursday, July 10, providing a window for potential candidates to submit their applications.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the committees tasked with receiving these applications will be operational daily from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (Cairo Time). However, on the final day of the nomination period, the committees will adjust their operating hours, beginning at 5:00 p.m. and closing at 2:00 p.m. This schedule aims to accommodate all prospective candidates wishing to participate in the upcoming Senate elections.
