Cairo: The Ministry of Parliamentary, Legal and Political Communication Affairs issued a statement today explaining the role, functions, and independence of the National Elections Authority (NEA), as well as the distribution of electoral districts across the country, through a series of awareness-raising infographics.According to State Information Service Egypt, the Ministry stated that the initiative is part of its ongoing efforts to enhance political awareness and promote transparency in the electoral process. The first infographic details the NEA's responsibilities in managing elections, its constitutional powers, independence, and membership. The second infographic provides detailed information about the number and geographical distribution of electoral districts.Counselor Mahmoud Fawzy, Minister of Parliamentary, Legal and Political Communication Affairs, emphasized the importance of making all political and electoral information easily accessible to citizens ahead of the upcoming House of Representa tives elections. He noted that such efforts aim to empower citizens to exercise their political rights smoothly and effectively, in line with the Ministry's role in strengthening political communication and public engagement.The Ministry added that today's infographics present comprehensive answers to citizens' questions about the National Elections Authority and the electoral districts, reaffirming its commitment to promoting informed participation in the political process.
