Cairo: Minister of State for Military Production Salah Suleiman Gamblat conducted an inspection tour of Helwan Engineering Industries (Factory 99) and Helwan Foundries (Factory 9) in the Helwan district of Cairo. This visit is part of ongoing efforts to ensure the smooth progress of operations within companies affiliated with the Ministry.
According to State Information Service Egypt, during his inspection of the production lines at Factory 99, Gamblat ordered a financial reward for several workers and engineers. These individuals were recognized for successfully repairing a vital production machine that had been out of service for decades. This reward aims to motivate further efforts to strengthen military production in defense manufacturing.
Gamblat emphasized that Helwan Engineering Industries is one of the largest factories in the Military Production sector and highlighted the potential of its workforce. He called for increased support for the workers and stressed the importance of considering their suggestions. Reviving key military industries, he noted, is essential for the sector's growth and sustainability.
