Minister of Labor Engages with Egyptian Community and Investors in Jeddah

Jeddah: Minister of Labor Mohamed Gabran held a meeting at the Egyptian Consulate in Jeddah, during his official visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, with representatives of the Egyptian community and Egyptian and Saudi investors. The meeting was attended by Ambassador Ahmed Abdel-Magid, Consul General of the Arab Republic of Egypt; Dr. Mazhar Sayed Bassiouni, Director General of Foreign Representation and National Labor Affairs at the Ministry of Labor; Counselor Ibrahim Saad, Head of the Labor Office; Counselor Mohamed Hassan, Labor Attach©; and Yasser El-Hefnawy and Abeer Attallah, representatives of Egyptians abroad.

According to State Information Service Egypt, Mohamed Gabran discussed with a number of senior businessmen in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia ways to enhance cooperation in the field of bringing in Egyptian workers to work in various projects in the Kingdom. The discussion also focused on encouraging Saudi investments in Egypt. Gabran reviewed efforts made by the Ministry of Labor in the fields of training and qualification and raising the efficiency of Egyptian workers, enabling them to compete with high efficiency according to the requirements and needs of foreign labor markets.
