Military Production Highlights Defense Industry Progress at EIAS 2026

Cairo: The Ministry of Military Production is taking part in the second El Alamein International Airshow (EIAS 2026), held Sept. 8-10 at Alamein International Airport under the patronage of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the participation comes in implementation of presidential directives to build partnerships with friendly and brotherly countries, expand cooperation with private-sector companies in industrial and technological fields, localize advanced defense manufacturing technologies and deepen local production.

The ministry's pavilion showcases a range of products and models manufactured using advanced global technologies to meet the needs of the Armed Forces and police, including ammunition, weapons, equipment, and electronic systems.

The pavilion has drawn strong interest from visitors, who praised the exhibits as a reflection of the progress made by Egypt's defense industries.

The exhibition will also feature meetings between Minister of State for Military Production Salah Soliman Gamblat and senior officials and heads of participating companies to discuss industrial partnerships and integration and explore the latest technologies.

The EIAS 2026 is a biennial platform bringing together major companies and institutions from the aviation, defense, and space sectors to exchange expertise and explore cooperation and partnership opportunities. This year's edition features around 250 exhibitors from 50 countries and is expected to attract about 12,000 visitors.
