Madbouly Inaugurates CEC Factory for Ball Bearings Production in Al-Sokhna

Al-sokhna: Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, accompanied by officials, inaugurated the CEC (Civil Engineering Components) factory for the production of ball bearings within the Red Sea for Copper industrial developer in the Al-Sokhna Industrial Zone, which falls under the Suez Canal Economic Zone Authority. This initiative is part of the state's efforts to localize supplier and auxiliary industries for the engineering and equipment sector.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the Prime Minister stated that the opening of this project reflects the government's firm commitment to deepening local manufacturing in a vital sector relied upon by a wide range of industrial machines and equipment. He emphasized the importance the state places on supporting projects that help reduce dependence on imports, boost added value, and embed the 'Made in Egypt' label across various productive sectors.

After the unveiling ceremony, the Prime Minister and his delegation toured the factory's production lines, which include washing, assembly, laser marking, sorting, packaging, and lubrication stages. During the tour, Mr. Rafael Emad, Chairman of the factory's Board, explained that CEC manufactures precision engineering components, including ball bearings, loading seats, and castings. The plant occupies an area of 5,625 square meters.
