Menya El Kamh: Minister of Agriculture Alaa Farouq announced that local farmers have supplied 3.7 million tons of wheat across the nation so far.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the announcement was made during the minister's visit to a wheat storehouse in the Menya El Kamh district in Sharqia governorate. Minister Farouq was accompanied by Sharqia Governor Hazem Ashmony and other officials to monitor the wheat supply's progress.

The minister emphasized the state's commitment to supporting and encouraging wheat farmers by providing necessary assistance to ensure the availability of this essential commodity. He highlighted the ongoing efforts to achieve food security and streamline procedures for both farmers and citizens.
