Abu dhabi: Egypt's Ambassador to the UAE Essam Ashour stated that voting in the House of Representatives elections for Egyptians abroad is taking place at Egyptian embassies and consulates worldwide on Friday and Saturday.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the ambassador highlighted the significant voter turnout at the Egyptian embassy in Abu Dhabi, attributing it to a heightened sense of national awareness among Egyptians residing in the UAE. The elections are part of a broader effort to engage Egyptian citizens living overseas in the democratic process, ensuring their voices are heard in the nation's legislative affairs.
