Davos: Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade Engineer Hassan Al-Khatib met with Mr. Paolo Merloni, Chairman of the Executive Board of the global "Ariston" Group, during the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. The discussion centered on opportunities for expanding Ariston's investments in Egypt, specifically targeting the home appliance sector.

According to State Information Service Egypt, Ariston currently operates a factory in the city of 10th of Ramadan and plans to increase its production capacity to cover European markets. The meeting underscored the strategic importance of this expansion for both Ariston and the Egyptian economy.

Minister Hassan Al-Khatib reiterated the government's dedication to fast-tracking procedures and extending support to companies investing in Egypt. The aim is to increase local content, enhance the value of exports, and ensure timely project implementation. The minister highlighted the role of the General Authority for Investment in facilitating the acquisition of necessary licenses to support company operations and expansion, thereby contributing to economic growth and development.
