Cairo: Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research and Acting Minister of Culture Abdel Aziz Konsowa convened a meeting with writer Samah Abu Bakr Ezzat, rapporteur of the Child Committee at the Supreme Council of Culture, and committee member Mohamed Fathy. The meeting aimed to discuss initiatives related to children's activities and formulate a comprehensive vision for a national project dedicated to the development and support of Egyptian children.

According to State Information Service Egypt, Konsowa emphasized the ongoing efforts to create a national project that would ensure cultural and artistic activities and events are accessible to children throughout all Egyptian governorates. The focus remains on identifying and nurturing talented children by providing environments that foster the growth of their skills and abilities.

Konsowa highlighted the critical role of leveraging resources and capabilities from relevant institutions and organizations to prepare future generations capable of creativity and contributing to Egypt's development. He underscored that investing in the youth is tantamount to investing in the nation's future, with a pivotal emphasis on raising awareness, enhancing abilities, and recognizing talents from an early age. This initiative aligns with Egypt's national priorities and supports the goals of Egypt Vision 2030.

The discussions also included the development of a general framework for the national project, encompassing programs designed to discover and support talented Egyptian children. The dialogue extended to strategies for involving various partners to ensure the widespread reach of these activities across Egypt.
