Cairo: The Ministry of Health and Population has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Roche Egypt to improve healthcare services for multiple sclerosis (MS) patients, an official statement from the ministry revealed.
According to State Information Service Egypt, the MoU aims to enhance early diagnosis and treatment through a strategic partnership. This collaboration focuses on integrating advanced technologies and international best practices in MS care across Egypt.
The announcement also highlighted that Egypt approves around 28,000 state-financed treatment permits annually for multiple sclerosis cases. This underscores the state's support for public-private healthcare collaboration.
