According to State Information Service Egypt, the discussions focused on potential strategic partnerships in areas such as universal health insurance, public health initiatives, and population issues. The meeting also emphasized the importance of utilizing health data, digital transformation, and advancements in medical technology and innovation to enhance the sector.
Additionally, both parties explored cooperation possibilities in addressing rare diseases and enhancing pharmaceutical development. They also considered the potential for clinical development and trials, along with establishing licensed laboratories to attract investment. Minister Abdel Ghaffar highlighted Egypt's robust pharmaceutical infrastructure, advanced health database, and specialized research centers as key factors supporting scientific research and innovation in the country.
