Manama: Executive Director of Social Housing and Mortgage Finance Fund (SHMFF) Mai Abdel Hamid participated in the activities of the Innovation Summit in the Social Housing Sector 2025 in Bahrain. The event, themed 'Towards Innovative and Sustainable Housing Solutions,' is scheduled from April 23-25 at the Exhibition World Bahrain (EWB) under the patronage of Bahraini Crown Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
According to State Information Service Egypt, Abdel Hamid delivered a presentation focusing on the Egyptian experience in providing suitable housing for low-income citizens. This initiative aims to combine the expansion of housing projects with an effective response to the needs of local communities.
Abdel Hamid highlighted that SHMFF has successfully implemented 725,000 residential units for low-income citizens and 33,000 residential units for medium-income citizens. The summit serves as a platform to exchange insights and strategies for achieving sustainable and innovative housing solutions.
