Future of Egypt Authority Implements Water Pumping System in New Delta

New Delta: The Future of Egypt Authority for Sustainable Development is implementing a comprehensive engineering system with 28 water pumping stations and 1,780 pumps. This initiative aims to address elevation challenges in the New Delta, enhance irrigation efficiency, and support agricultural production.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the authority announced the deployment of a large-scale pumping system to tackle the varying land elevations that have posed significant challenges to irrigation water delivery. The system is designed to lift and transport water effectively across the project's network.

The water system includes 28 major pumping stations, equipped with 280 high-capacity pumps, 1,500 medium-capacity pumps, and 380 booster pumps. This infrastructure ensures a continuous flow of water throughout the New Delta, facilitating agricultural expansion.

The Future of Egypt for Sustainable Development Authority plays a strategic role in executing development projects and partnering with the private sector to drive sustainable economic growth in alignment with Egypt Vision 2030.
