Foreign Ministry Monitors Egyptian Community Concerns in Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek: Egyptian Ambassador to Kazakhstan Nagi Ghaba, who also serves as the Charg© d'Affaires of the Egyptian Embassy, recently conducted a consular mission to Bishkek, the capital of the Kyrgyz Republic. This mission, spanning from July 21 to 23, was initiated under the directives of Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty, with the aim of assessing the conditions of the Egyptian community and addressing their consular needs.

According to State Information Service Egypt, Ambassador Ghaba engaged with members of the Egyptian community in Kyrgyzstan, emphasizing that the support and protection of Egyptians abroad is a principal concern for the Egyptian state. He attentively listened to their concerns, requests, and the challenges they face.

Subsequent to these discussions, the ambassador supervised the completion of consular procedures and engaged in discussions with officials from the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry. These talks were focused on conveying the community's concerns, especially those concerning Egyptian students attending universities in Kyrgyzstan.

In addition to these activities, Ambassador Ghaba visited a prison to meet with detained Egyptian nationals. During his visit, he evaluated their conditions and held discussions with prison authorities to explore ways to ensure their well-being and address their needs.
