Cairo: Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration, and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdelatty emphasized Egypt's commitment to maintaining consultation and coordination with the United States. This commitment comes in light of the two countries' long-standing strategic partnership and shared interests. Abdelatty made these remarks during a meeting with Speaker of the United States House of Representatives Mike Johnson, where he also conveyed President Abdel Fattah El Sisi's greetings.

According to State Information Service Egypt, Speaker Johnson asked the Egyptian diplomat to relay his greetings and appreciation to President Sisi. Johnson commended Egypt's crucial role in supporting regional security and stability and acknowledged its efforts in the Gaza ceasefire talks.
