FM Praises Growing Egypt-Qatar Cooperation

Doha: Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdelatty expressed appreciation for the growing momentum in Egypt-Qatar relations during a meeting with Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani on the sidelines of the Doha Forum.

According to State Information Service Egypt, Foreign Ministry spokesman Tamim Khallaf stated that Abdelatty welcomed the progress made in bilateral cooperation.

He added that the two ministers also addressed the latest developments in Gaza, stressing the need to advance all stages of the Sharm El Sheikh peace agreement, maintain the ceasefire, implement UN Security Council Resolution 2803, and move swiftly toward deploying the international stabilization force.

They also agreed on the importance of ensuring continuous humanitarian aid and supporting early recovery and reconstruction efforts.

Abdelatty reaffirmed Egypt's readiness to deepen coordination with Qatar on regional issues and build on the strengthening bilateral relationship.
