Antalya: Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdelatty met with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha on the sidelines of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum in Turkey. During the meeting, the two ministers discussed ways to strengthen bilateral relations.

According to State Information Service Egypt, Abdelatty praised the current level of cooperation between the two countries, expressing his aspiration to elevate ties to broader horizons through continued rounds of political consultations and joint committees between both sides. He also emphasized Egypt’s keenness to develop economic and trade cooperation and to enhance collaboration in the fields of energy, construction, telecommunications, and industrial localization.

Abdelatty reviewed developments in the Middle East, particularly the economic repercussions of the military escalation, and highlighted Egypt’s efforts to de-escalate tensions. The two ministers also discussed developments in the Ukrainian crisis.

Abdelatty reaffirmed Egypt’s firm commitment to the peaceful settlement of conflicts through dialogue, which strengthens regional security and stability.
