Athens: Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdelatty emphasized the significance of Egyptian expatriates participating in upcoming national elections to uphold citizenship values and exercise constitutional rights. This statement was made during a meeting with the Egyptian community in Greece, concluding his visit to Athens.
According to State Information Service Egypt, Abdelatty expressed his commitment to engaging with Egyptian communities during his foreign visits and acknowledged the role of the Egyptian community in Greece in enhancing relations between Egypt and Greece. He informed community members about various initiatives launched by the ministry in collaboration with state institutions to serve Egyptians abroad, highlighting the state's support for its citizens overseas.
Abdelatty also discussed the outcomes of the 6th Conference of Egyptians Abroad, held in Cairo on August 3-4, and the initiatives announced during its sessions. At the meeting's conclusion, an interactive discussion took place with community members, where Abdelatty listened to their opinions on addressing their needs and suggestions for improving consular services abroad.
