FM Engages in Strategic Discussions with African Counterparts at OIC Meeting

Istanbul: Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigration Badr Abdelatty conducted a series of strategic meetings with his counterparts from Chad, Gambia, Gabon, Somalia, Tunisia, and Djibouti. These discussions took place on the sidelines of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Council of Foreign Ministers meeting in Istanbul.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the dialogues primarily focused on enhancing bilateral relations and exploring avenues for cooperation in sectors such as economic, trade, and investment. The leaders also delved into significant topics on the agenda of the ministerial meeting, with an emphasis on addressing current regional and international challenges. The importance of coordinating positions within the framework of the OIC was underscored during these discussions.
