Finance Minister Praises Mint Authority’s Contribution to Egypt’s Heritage

Cairo: Minister of Finance Ahmed Kouchouk lauded the efforts of the Public Treasury and Mint Authority staff during his inaugural visit to the authority and its museum. Kouchouk highlighted the skill and professionalism that the staff demonstrated, acknowledging their vital role in documenting Egypt's heritage and maintaining the nation's industrial reputation.

According to State Information Service Egypt, Kouchouk expressed his appreciation for the Egyptian workers who actively contribute to the country's development and aid in shaping its future. He emphasized the ministry's commitment to further develop the authority through partnerships with local and international private sectors. He noted ongoing efforts to produce innovative commemorative coins as part of this development initiative.

Kouchouk also underscored the importance of presenting Egypt's rich history and national symbols in ways that resonate with younger generations. He announced that the authority is working on a comprehensive plan aimed at improving operational efficiency and ensuring a sustainable supply of small change. This initiative is part of the authority's continuing efforts to preserve Egypt's historical memory and strengthen national awareness.
