Finance Minister Highlights Expansion of Major International Companies in Egypt

Cairo: Minister of Finance Ahmed Kouchouk affirmed his optimism about the future of the Egyptian economy and the private sector's ability to lead further growth in the coming period. Ahmed Kouchouk explained that the recent economic reforms have attracted investor interest and had a tangible impact, reflected in increased private investments.

According to State Information Service Egypt, speaking at the second Cairo Forum 2025, Kouchouk stated that Egypt has become a key point for manufacturing and exports in the Middle East and Africa, and an attractive destination for international partnerships.

Ahmed Kouchouk noted that inflation rates are declining globally, and the priority must be to drive economic development efforts and create job opportunities.

The Minister of Finance added that major international companies are expanding in Egypt, and the country possesses a competitive logistical infrastructure. Kouchouk also highlighted the strong coordination within the economic team, emphasizing that they are working together as a unified system to serve the state's objectives. He stressed that they are relying on industry and exports as the engine of growth while maintaining financial stability.
