Cairo: Minister of Finance Ahmed Kouchouk announced that the promising results of recent tax facilitation measures have encouraged the government to continue simplifying and easing procedures for the tax community. He emphasized that the positive response from the business sector suggests the country is on the right track, thus placing a responsibility on the government to maintain these efforts.

According to State Information Service Egypt, during a ceremony organized by e-Finance for Digital and Financial Investments and eTax, Minister Kouchouk praised the employees of the Egyptian Tax Authority for their outstanding work. He noted an increase in voluntary compliance rates and growing tax revenues, achieved without adding extra burdens on taxpayers. He emphasized the government's commitment to fostering a stronger partnership with taxpayers by offering substantial support to ensure their businesses thrive.

The minister expressed pride in the advancements made by e-Finance and eTax, highlighting their expertise and capability to export tax services.
