Cairo: Finance Minister Ahmed Kouchouk has called on Indian companies to increase their investments in Egypt and take advantage of the promising opportunities and economic potential offered by the local market. Kouchouk made the remarks during a meeting with S. Ganesh Kumar, Managing Director of TCI Sanmar Chemicals, on the sidelines of the BRICS meetings in India.
According to State Information Service Egypt, Kouchouk emphasized Egypt's strategic focus on attracting foreign investments to bolster development and generate additional employment opportunities. He highlighted the country's comprehensive packages of tax and customs incentives designed to support entrepreneurship and stimulate the private sector. Such measures are aimed at making Egypt an attractive destination for foreign investors, particularly from India, as the nation seeks to expand its economic horizons.
