Cairo: Minister of Finance Ahmed Kouchouk announced that salaries for April and May 2026 will be paid starting on the 19th of each month as part of efforts to ease the financial burden on state employees. This decision is aimed at facilitating access to funds and helping citizens better meet their basic needs.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the minister also decided to bring forward the payment of late dues for March to begin on April 7, in consideration of the upcoming Christian holidays. The adjustment in the payment schedule is intended to provide financial relief ahead of these significant festivities.
