Cairo: The Egyptian Red Crescent (ERC) launched on Sunday, May 10, 2026, the 192nd convoy under the 'Zad Al Ezza .. From Egypt to Gaza' initiative, dispatching a number of aid trucks to the Gaza Strip as part of its role as the national mechanism responsible for coordinating the entry of humanitarian assistance into the strip.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the convoy carried approximately 4,922 tonnes of humanitarian aid, including food baskets, flour, medical supplies, relief materials, and fuel for hospitals and other vital facilities in the Gaza Strip.

The Egyptian Red Crescent also stepped up efforts to provide residents of the Strip with essential needs, including clothing, blankets, tarpaulins, and tents for displaced and affected families.
