Cairo: President Abdel Fattah El Sisi has declared that October 2025 holds a "special flavor" due to Egypt's successful efforts in stopping the conflict in the Gaza Strip. Speaking at the 42nd Cultural Symposium commemorating the October War, the President highlighted the significance of October as a month of achievements for Egypt, from the historic victory in 1973 to recent diplomatic feats.

According to State Information Service Egypt, President El Sisi emphasized Egypt's unwavering goal to facilitate humanitarian aid, cease hostilities, and ensure the release of both Israeli hostages and Palestinian prisoners. He affirmed that Egypt's initiatives are driven by a profound humanitarian commitment to the Palestinian people and a dedication to regional stability.

President El Sisi reiterated Egypt's enduring policy focused on the security and stability of its nation and neighboring regions. He stated that Egypt aims for peace and stability throughout the region.
