Cairo: The Egyptian Red Crescent has announced the deployment of the 30th "Zad Al-Izza... From Egypt to Gaza" convoy, which is transporting urgent humanitarian aid to the southern Gaza Strip through the Karam Abu Salem crossing. This initiative is a part of Egypt's continuous efforts to coordinate aid delivery to Gaza.
According to State Information Service Egypt, the convoy consists of approximately 2,750 tons of essential supplies, including over 2,400 tons of food baskets and flour, as well as more than 300 tons of crucial medical and relief supplies. This effort highlights Egypt's commitment to providing necessary support to the people of Gaza.
The Egyptian Red Crescent has maintained a consistent presence at the border since the onset of the crisis, and the Rafah crossing has remained open on the Egyptian side. The organization has ensured that logistical centers stay operational, facilitating the entry of aid that has totaled more than half a million tons. These efforts have been supported by the dedication of 35,000 volunteers from the association.
