Egypt: Egyptian tennis player Mohamed Genedy won the EGY 12 ITF Junior J100 singles title after defeating compatriot Youssef Mourid in the final at Smash Sporting Club. Genedy secured the title with a 6-4, 4-6, 6-2 victory in Saturday's final.According to State Information Service Egypt, the two players later teamed up to win the boys' doubles title, defeating an Indian pair 6-3, 6-2 in the final. The tournament, held in Egypt from August 3 to 8, is part of the national team's preparations for the Junior Davis Cup and Billie Jean King Cup Juniors, which Egypt is set to host.Genedy finished the tournament with both the singles and doubles titles, while Mourid claimed the doubles crown after finishing runner-up in the singles competition.
