Cairo: Egypt's General Authority for Investment and Free Zones (GAFI) is close to officially launching an online platform for investor complaints.According to State Information Service Egypt, GAFI CEO Mohamed Awad stated that this initiative is part of the government's efforts to streamline the handling of investor complaints. The platform is being introduced under directives from Investment and Foreign Trade Minister Mohamed Farid, aiming to unify channels for receiving investor grievances and ensure they are managed transparently and professionally.The platform will enable investors to submit complaints and suggestions electronically, track their status using a reference number, and evaluate the quality of the service until their issues are resolved. Awad noted that complaints would be addressed within a set response timeframe, enhancing the overall efficiency of the process.Additionally, the platform is designed to serve as a tool to assess the efficiency of Egypt's investment system. It will provid e real-time reports to policymakers and utilize artificial intelligence to analyze and classify complaints. This technological integration is expected to improve the speed and efficiency of responses in collaboration with relevant authorities, while ensuring uninterrupted service throughout the week.
