Egyptians in Kuwait Continue Voting on Second Day of Run-Offs in Annulled Constituencies

Cairo: The Egyptian community in Kuwait continued voting on the second and final day of polling for Egyptians abroad in the run-off round of the 19 annulled constituencies from the first stage of the House of Representatives elections at the electoral committee headquarters in the Kuwait International Fairground in Mishref. The run-off round for the 19 annulled constituencies from the first stage of the House of Representatives elections began on Wednesday for Egyptians abroad and continues until today, covering 35 seats contested by 70 candidates in the 19 constituencies.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the 19 annulled constituencies include 7 in Sohag Governorate (Sohag, Akhmim, Maragha, Tahta, Girga, Al-Mansh'a, and Dar Al-Salam), 4 in Qena Governorate (Qena, Qus, Naj' Hammadi, and Abutig), 3 in Beheira Governorate (Damanhour, Abu Hommos, and Itey El-Baroud), 2 in Fayoum Governorate (Fayoum City and Ebshewai Center), plus one constituency each in Assiut Governorate (Al-Fateh Center), Giza Governorate (Imbaba), and Alexandria Governorate (First Ramle District).
