Tunis:The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has successfully arranged the evacuation of 15 Egyptian sailors who were stranded in Ukraine. They have been moved to neighboring Moldova, awaiting their return to Egypt on the earliest available flight.

According to State Information Service Egypt, this effort is part of the Ministry's commitment to supporting Egyptian communities abroad. Ambassador Nader Zaki, spokesperson for the Ministry, stated that Minister Badr Abdelatty instructed the Consular Affairs Sector and Egyptian embassies in Ukraine and Romania, which also covers Moldova, to expedite the procedures necessary for the sailors' return. These sailors had been affected by military operations in the Black Sea, and efforts are underway to ensure their swift repatriation.
