Egyptian Red Crescent Receives 91st Batch of Palestinians at Rafah Crossing

Rafah:The Egyptian Red Crescent (ERC) continues its humanitarian operations by receiving the 91st batch of injured and sick Palestinians who arrived in Egypt for medical care. This effort is conducted in coordination with the Ministries of Health and Population, and Social Solidarity.

According to State Information Service Egypt, ERC teams have also facilitated the departure of patients who have recovered and completed their medical treatment in Egypt. During their transit through the Rafah crossing, the ERC provided a range of humanitarian services to the wounded, sick, and their companions.

These services include psychological support, especially for children, assistance in restoring family links, as well as the provision of meals, beverages, clothing, and personal hygiene kits to address their basic needs at the crossing.

The ongoing efforts by the Egyptian Red Crescent at the Rafah crossing have been vital since the outbreak of the crisis, with teams working tirelessly to deliver aid and respond to the humanitarian needs of Palestinians under difficult circumstances. The ERC's support is part of Egypt's wider commitment to alleviate the suffering of those affected from the Gaza Strip, ensuring that they receive necessary care during their treatment journey.
