Madrid: The Egyptian pavilion at the FITUR 2026 International Tourism Fair, held in Madrid, Spain, from January 21 to 25, earned the prestigious award for Best Pavilion among participating countries. This accolade was presented in recognition of the pavilion's artistic and visual excellence, as well as its skillful portrayal of Egypt's cultural identity through a blend of traditional and contemporary design elements.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the award was accepted by Dr. Ahmed Youssef, CEO of the Egyptian Tourism Authority. The presentation took place in front of the Egyptian pavilion and was conducted by Mr. Jos© S¡nchez, the Commercial Director of the IFEMA International Exhibition Centre. This recognition underscores the pavilion's success in innovatively showcasing Egypt's rich cultural heritage.
