Seoul:Chairman of the Egyptian Drug Authority (EDA), Ali El-Ghamrawy, emphasized the necessity of strengthening cooperation with international regulatory bodies to enhance the efficiency of Egypt's medical products control system. He highlighted this during a meeting with representatives from the French National Agency for Medicines and Health Products Safety (ANSM) at the International Coalition of Medicines Regulatory Authorities (ICMRA) meetings in Seoul, South Korea.
According to State Information Service Egypt, the discussions focused on benefiting from ANSM's technical and regulatory expertise, especially in areas such as drug inspection, laboratory testing, and batch release. The meeting aimed at providing specialized technical support and capacity building to help EDA achieve the World Health Organization's Maturity Level 4 (ML4) and qualify for the WHO Listed Authorities (WLA) list.
