Ljubljana:Egyptian Ambassador to Slovenia Nahla Essam El-Zawahry emphasized the importance of supporting Egyptians living abroad during a meeting with the Egyptian community held at the embassy. This gathering was part of her ongoing efforts to address the concerns and requests of Egyptians residing in Slovenia.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the ambassador highlighted that both the Egyptian state and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Egyptian Expatriates prioritize the welfare and rights of Egyptians abroad. She stressed the significance of engaging with official platforms aimed at supporting this community, which are promoted by Egyptian embassies.

El-Zawahry also underscored the role of the Egyptian community in Slovenia in fostering Egyptian interests and strengthening bilateral ties between the two nations. She expressed her appreciation for the community, recognizing them as valuable contributors to Egypt and reaffirmed the embassy's dedication to maintaining communication and safeguarding their interests in collaboration with state bodies and institutions.

Community representatives commended the Egyptian embassy's efforts in serving citizens in Slovenia and praised the state's support for Egyptians overseas. They acknowledged recent positive developments in Egypt, particularly in economic infrastructure, and noted the country's flexibility in overcoming challenges compared to bureaucratic hurdles faced in European nations.
