Conakry: Guinean Foreign Minister Morissanda Kouyat© has emphasized the longstanding ties between Guinea and Egypt, dating back to Guinea's independence in 1958, and acknowledged Egypt's significant role for the Guinean population.

According to State Information Service Egypt, during a meeting with Egypt's ambassador to Guinea, Mohamed El Helwany, Minister Kouyat© expressed his commitment to collaborating with the Egyptian diplomat to fulfill the mutual interests and goals of both nations.

Ambassador El Helwany discussed the productive relationship between the two countries and the potential for strengthening these connections in the near future. Both parties considered various avenues for cooperation that would support their shared ambitions and benefit their peoples.
