Cairo: EgyptAir announced on Saturday, 29/11/2025, that it has established a specialized task force from its maintenance and engineering division and its Integrated Operations Control Center (IOCC) to monitor technical updates issued by Airbus and to take immediate precautionary measures. The national flag carrier said the team is also assessing any potential impact on flight schedules.According to State Information Service Egypt, this move follows new global guidance from Airbus concerning A320 aircraft. EgyptAir stated that its engineering team has been working directly with Airbus to identify all affected aircraft in its fleet, inspect them, and install the required software updates. The airline added that the work was completed in a short time and without disrupting flight operations.
