Cairo:Egypt's Foreign Minister, Badr Abdelatty, has called for an immediate cessation of all attacks against Saudi Arabia, condemning them as unjustified and unacceptable. He emphasized the critical need for de-escalation and containment of regional tensions, highlighting the potential negative impact on security and stability both regionally and globally.

According to State Information Service Egypt, Abdelatty's remarks came during a phone conversation with his Iranian counterpart, Abbas Araghchi. The discussions focused on the overall regional situation and the rapidly evolving developments, along with ongoing efforts to mitigate tensions and manage the current situation.

Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Nader Zaki noted that Abdelatty stressed the importance of prioritizing political and diplomatic solutions. He advocated for a return to negotiations and dialogue between Iran and the United States as the only viable path to resolving existing disputes and preventing further escalation and instability in the region.
