Cairo: Egypt will host the 7th African Youth and Juniors Wushu Kung Fu Championship at the International Hall of Arab Contractors Club in Cairo from February 10 to 13. The Egyptian Wushu Kung Fu Federation announced the news, marking an important event for young athletes across the continent.According to State Information Service Egypt, Sherif Mostafa, President of the federation, stated that hosting the championship reflects the confidence of both continental and international federations in Egypt's capability to organize major sporting events at high standards. He emphasized the significance of supporting youth and junior players and noted the event's role in fostering technical development and experience exchange among African athletes.The opening ceremony is scheduled for Tuesday and will be attended by Youth and Sports Minister Ashraf Sobhi, African and Chinese ambassadors, and heads of participating delegations. It will feature performances by the Chinese national wushu team, adding an international element to the championship's inauguration.
