The Egyptian delegation, comprising 196 athletes, has outperformed larger delegations from countries like Italy, Turkey, and France, which have sent between 249 to 498 athletes. Egypt has climbed to fifth place in the medal table with a total of 13 medals, maintaining its lead in the Arab medal standings over Tunisia by five medals. This success underscores the strategic coordination among Olympic champion and Minister of Youth and Sports Gohar Nabil, Egyptian Olympic Committee President Yasser Idris, and the national sports fede rations.
