The statement expressed appreciation for the efforts being made to de-escalate tensions and prevent the worsening of the current situation, in a way that positively reflects on the security and stability of the region. Meanwhile, a phone call took place between the Minister of Foreign Affairs Badr Abdelatty and the Yemeni Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Shaya'a Al-Zindani. During the call, the two ministers discussed the current situation in Yemen and the efforts being led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates to reduce escalation and achieve security and stability in Yemen, in a manner that reflects positively on the security and stability of the region. Minister Abdelatty also renewed Egypt's welcome of the agreement related to the exchange of prisoners and detainees in Yemen, considering it a step that supports ongoing efforts to create a conducive environment for resuming the settlement process.
