Egypt Reaffirms Keenness to Strengthen Ties with African Nations

Cairo: Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation, and Egyptian Expatriates for African Affairs Mohamed Abu Bakr Saleh affirmed during his meeting with African ambassadors accredited in Cairo Egypt's keenness to continue strengthening cooperation and coordination with African countries.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the deputy foreign minister expressed his satisfaction with the growing momentum in Egyptian-African relations across various fields. The Cameroonian ambassador in Cairo delivered a speech in which he expressed gratitude, on behalf of the African group, to the foreign minister and the foreign ministry for their sincere efforts in defending Africa's interests.

Assistant Foreign Minister for African Affairs Karim Sherif praised the efforts exerted by African states to foster continental cooperation in the face of challenges posed by rapid global changes. He emphasized their keenness on continued consultation and joint action to find the best approaches and policies to address these challenges.
