Egypt, Qatar, and Turkey Condemn Israeli Violations in Gaza

Amman: Egypt, Qatar, and Turkey: In their capacity as mediating countries, Egypt, Qatar, and Turkey have expressed strong condemnation and denunciation of the ongoing Israeli violations in the Gaza Strip, particularly focusing on the targeting of health facilities and installations. The attacks have resulted in civilian casualties, including women and children, which the countries claim constitute a flagrant violation of international law and international humanitarian law.According to Union of OIC News Agencies, these mediators have issued a joint statement emphasizing the need for the Israeli occupation to abide by its obligations under international law and to fully comply with the ceasefire agreement. They stressed that the continuation of these violations not only constitutes a breach of the agreement but also undermines efforts to implement its second phase, threatens the path to calming the situation, and increases the suffering of civilians in the Gaza Strip. The mediating nations reiterated their call for ensuring the full protection of civilians, medical facilities, and humanitarian workers. They also emphasized the importance of securing the unhindered access of humanitarian aid and medical supplies to all parts of the Gaza Strip. The joint statement calls on the international community to assume its responsibilities and exert the necessary pressure on the Israeli occupation to fulfill its obligations under international law and the ceasefire agreement, aiming to ensure the completion of the implementation of US President Donald Trump's peace plan.
